My daughter can write her name now. It's still rough, but she can do it. I am incredibly proud of her.
Alesmith clone will be ready for bottling tomorrow, most likely. It's incredibly bitter, which should be a good thing. I may be using Columbus hops for bittering along with Simcoe from now on. I think I will definitely use the same grain bill from this clone with my next recipe, but up the Crystal and Two row and drop the Wheat entirely.
Side rant. The beer descriptions at the Flying Saucer are just godawful half truths. It's like listening to a politician. I think I'll borrow a menu and do a full writeup for myself to read, since I'm the only person who ever looks at this damn thing.
I think I may also start scanning my daughter's art work she does at day care and posting it for fun.
