Long Time
But no one reads it anyway. My latest brewing experiment is yet another Stone IPA deviation - WLP051 yeast, simcoe bittering hops (2 oz), and a mix of Centennial and Amarillo as flavor and aroma hops. Not sure what i will dry hop it with, but probably another mix of those two. My last effort used English Ale yeast, Simcoe as bittering, and Centennial for the rest. It was quite good, and i really enjoyed the flavor/bitterness that Simcoe imparted upon the brew as opposed to Magnum as the bittering hop. Also, since i last posted i have read every Christopher Moore book, and they are just incredible. As a Beta Male, i felt obligated to order a beta male mesh hat from Cafe Press, but it wasn't quite big enough for my bulbous dome. My roomate got lucky and now has a new hat :(
