Umm, Yeah.

I will attempt the Bacon Explosion on Sunday for the Super Bowl, i think. We'll see how it turns out. My second attempt at an Imperial Winter Ale from Austin Homebrew turned out pretty good - i thought i had blown in by not cooling it down quick enough. I've already got an experiment bottled as well. I had been drinking Real Ale Full Moon Pale Rye, and could notice the sweetness of the Rye Malt, and wondered if i could make an IPA with the same grain mixture. I did, and even though i haven't had it carbonated, it was pretty good! Today I will start a Rogue Imperial IPA clone, we'll see how it will turn out. Since Centennial hops have made their triumphant return to AHB, i'm gonna throw those in the mix as well. The Centennial Blend hop pellets they had served me well, but the real thing is not to be scoffed at! In other news that no one will ever read, i have assembled most of my daughter's picnic table, and it's worked out pretty well. Just needs a second coat of pink paint!
