Long Time

Between posts. This blogging this is hard to keep up with sometimes if you don't make yourself. Anyway, my second Stone clone turned out great. Fiddled with the hops a bit - not adding everything at the times specified. Throwing in 1/3 oz of Cascade, Amarillo, and Centennial Blend (Centennial not available at AHB) at a time instead of adding separate hops at separate times. Really fun experimenting. A new batch of Imperial Winter ale is now in the primary, and it's bubbling away nicely. Not sure what to expect from this batch - i forgot to buy ice before i boiled and had to rely on 35 degree temps to cool... Anyways, it's very close to Christmas and i just thank god i have my daughter this year. Last year royally sucked.
